A quirky Dracula named Count runs an exclusive hotel called Hotel Transylvania. It is the perfect getaway for high-profile monsters and their families. The owner of the establishment, Count, is busy planning a grand party for her daughter but things take a different turn when a human finds him at a gathering full of monsters.

While he deals with the bullying at school for being the ‘new boy’ he finds solace in his newfound friendship with a vampire named Rudolph. The two then embark on a journey in the hopes of changing the latter’s life.

Scooby-Dooand his gang of detectives solve another mystery in their green van. The group sets out to stop Mr. Rigby disguised as a ghost from reviving the ghost of the three-headed-hound Cerberus. As they prevent it from happening, Scooby learns about his history, which could potentially help him succeed in his quest.

The information about the massive fortune of the Addams family falls into the wrong ears and a man named Christopher Llyod enters the Addams’ home guised as Fester. The family soon learns his ways and intentions of swindling them, uniting as one against the impostor to protect their home and fortune.

A young boy named Alex is simply obsessed with spooky tales and is often found crafting one. However, he quits after his knack for storytelling gets him tags like ‘weird,’ ‘aloof,’ and ‘nerdy’ from folks around. Things take another turn when he is trapped by a witch who offers to let him stay alive only on one condition – if he tells her a new horror story every night.

Toy Story of Terroris an edition of the film that takes a bit of a spooky turn. While being a light-hearted watch, the narrative also touches on some sensitive topics as most characters face and confront their fears and anxieties in the plot.
The characters go on a road trip in Bonnie’s suitcase as he travels with his mom. Midway, they stop at a motel after their car’s tire goes flat. Despite Woody’s hesitation, the gang leaves the suitcase. However, they end up inviting a whole series of trouble after Mr. Potatohead’s head goes missing.

Coralineis, in many ways,an animated thriller film, owing to the many suspenseful sequences that the movie packs. It is a must-watch Halloween movie for anyone looking to add a tad more spookiness to their holiday.
The protagonist, Coraline Jones, voiced by Dakota Fanning, is infamous for being adventurous, which leads to her taking calculated and, sometimes, uncalculated risks. On one such expedition of hers, she walks through a door of her old house to kill her boredom. Beyond that door, she discovers a whole new world that is starkly better than hers. However, things get intense when she is unable to come back to her real world.

Igoris a light-hearted addition to the list. It is a title that can be enjoyed by the entire family without being too sucked into the narrative. Tony Leondis’ creation has a few big names in the cast including John Cusack, Steve Buscemi, and Sean Hayes. The narrative hilariously portrays evil plans.
The protagonist, Igor, is the personal assistant to one of the world’s greatest and craziest scientists, Dr. Glickenstein. Being in awe, Igor aspires to follow in his boss’ footsteps one day. When the opportunity presents itself, Igor comes up with an evil monster to win the annual science prize. However, his creation is nothing like what he expected it to be.

Hocus Pocus
Hocus Pocusisa family comedythat reminds one of the old Disney days. Along with being a fun Halloween watch, it is also a nostalgic movie that brings back the fragrance of the good old days.
Siblings Max and Dani go exploring an abandoned house in Salem after moving to the town. While in it, Max accidentally resurrects 3 witches who have been dead for more than 300 years. Upon their revival, they plan to start their evil reign, reclaiming their youth, and becoming immortal. However, Max can stop all of it only if he can steal their book of spells.

Gremlinsis undoubtedly one of the cutest satirical narratives on this list. The movie is as spooky as funny, and certainly as witty, making it an ideal choice for Halloween. The title continues to age well even after almost 4 decades of its original release.
Billy receives a rather strange gift from his father Randall, a gremlin. However, the present comes with three vital conditions. As Billy let’s his excitement get the better of him, he ignores all three conditions. As a result, a whole army of gremlins is unleased on his town creating chaos like never before.
