Some of the games are canon in the universe along with the movies, while others take place in the universe but aren’t part of the movie universe canon. All of them are lovable and relatable in their own way. This list will only have characters that are contained to their own game or series of games and not seen in movies.

10Iden Versio (Star Wars: Battlefront II)

9RC-1138 (Star Wars: Republic Commando)

RC-1138, also known as Boss, is the playable character in Republic Commando and the leader of Delta Squad. He led his commando squad on some of the most dangerous missions during the Clone Wars. The Commandos and Boss were trained by a Mandalorian warrior and were made to be better than their average clone counterparts.

Although he didn’t say much, his actions were always made with the best intentions of Delta Squad and the Republic. His exploits are detailed throughout the game and in a book series that leads up to the legendary Order 66.

8HK-47 (Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic)

HK-47 is one of the most memorable characters fromKnights Of The Old Republic. He was Revan’s personal assassination droid and friend who has his memory wiped and doesn’t remember his former master. The way he was programmed makes him hostile to all living things, or “meatbags” as he continually refers to them in the game.

He is a deadly asset to be reckoned with and has one of the snarkiest personalities in all of Star Wars. He’s also one of the best characters to come out of KOTOR, and you should look forward to seeing him back inthe future remakeof the game.

7Rahm Kota (Star Wars: Force Unleashed)

Not all Jedi were killed in Order 66, and Rahm Kota is one of them. Due to his extreme distrust of clone troopers, he insisted on serving in the Clone Wars with his own group of human soldiers. He is later found to be alive and is hunted down by Starkiller.

After being blinded by him, Kota later meets a betrayed Starkiller, and they become allies. Rahm is a cranky old man set in his ways who gets changed by an unlikely friend. He is humble and a great leader, and he’s one of Starkiller’s greatest allies.

6X2 (Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron)

This is a bit of a weird one some people don’t know much about. X2 is from the Nintendo DS and PSP-only game, Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron. He is one of two clones that were cloned from the Jedi Falon Grey. The two brothers fought in the Clone Wars together until they realized that they were also force sensitive — just like the Jedi they were cloned from.

X1, the older brother, became a Sith and worked with the Empire. Meanwhile, X2 became a Jedi with the New Republic. They eventually fight each other, and X2 is the sole survivor. He’s a cool character and has admirable qualities. That’s why he makes this list.

5Kyle Katarn (Star Wars: Dark Forces)

Kyle Katarn is an Imperial Soldier gone Rebel who later becomes a Jedi Knight under the New Jedi Order. Trained by Luke Skywalker himself, he is constantly haunted by his past and never thinks he fits in among the Jedi Order.

Because of this, he often operates outside The Order and helps Luke acquire new padawans to train. Despite his seeming lack of self-esteem, Kyle is witty and clever, and he’s sometimes so overly curious that it gets him into trouble.

4Satele Shan (Star Wars: The Old Republic)

Satele Shan is one of the heroes inThe Old Republicand is the direct descendant of Bastila Shan, who fought against Darth Revan prior to the events of Knights of the Old Republic. She’s not as bold or brash as Bastila and is instead warm and caring towards others. She is the youngest Jedi to ever become Grand Master of the Jedi Order.

Satele always values peace over war and is quite the diplomat when it comes to dealing with the Sith Empire. She is also not to be underestimated in lightsaber combat, as she is a skilled swordsman.

3Cal Kestis (Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order)

InStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal survived The Purge of the Jedi at a very young age, but his master wasn’t so lucky. He navigates a world where he is constantly hunted by inquisitors and starts out with only a few skills under his belt. He is reluctant to fight the Empire at first, but he eventually comes around.

Cal is also plagued by survivors guilt that he slowly overcomes over the course of the game. He had a lot of character development in the first game and is for sure to have more inhis upcoming sequel.

2Galen “Starkiller” Marek (Star Wars: Force Unleashed)

Galen is the best anti-hero Star Wars has to offer. He was taken from his father by Darth Vader at a young age and was trained to eventually help overthrow Emperor Palpatine. Before confronting Palpatine, he was a very skilled assassin who hunted down and killed several powerful Jedi who were in hiding.

Starkiller is one of the most powerful force users in general. He was even able to pull a Star Destroyer out of orbit! He slowly became more trusting of others over the course of his two games and became one of the best characters in Star Wars.

1Darth Revan (Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic)

Revan is the embodiment of all that the Sith would eventually become. He is an ex-Jedi who fought in the Mandalorian wars and was easily led down the path of darkness. Revan is a cold and calculating hero that has many qualities of a villain, while also offering an incredible redemption arc — depending on light or dark-side choices made in Knights of the Old Republic.

He’s very tactical and only has his best interests in mind. He is a major fan-favorite character, and that’s why he is number one on this list. Everybody hopes that he will soon make his live action debut.
